Garrett walked into Sunday school without a tear nor a whimper today. It's been 2 1/2 years in the making, and we made a BIG deal out of it!
Jack began using the potty on Friday night and has continued with only two accidents all weekend. I guess we're potty training! With only three weeks before our big family vacation to Colorado, I can't say the timing is great, but we're going with it for now.

Potty training away from home is THE BEST! Seriously! Keira decided while we were in MN to train herself. My daycare provider INSISTED that the best way to potty train kids (she had some of her own and it worked great!) was to leave the house - go to a hotel, on vacation, grandma's house, wherever - but leave the house. And amazingly enough when you get where you're going, you forgot diapers! All you have are big kid underwear and an endless supply of potty treats (ours were Junior Mints - who knew 2 year olds likes Junior Mints!). After 3 days, you're good to go.
You can totally do this . . . I bet you'll be way surprised at how well your little man does on vacation :-)
And have a great time . . . it's been beautiful here!
