Works For Me Wednesday: Car Essentials

Shannon has requested that this week's edition of WFMW be car related. So, I thought I would share three essential items in my car.

Hand sanitizer is essential for us. After playing at the park or riding in the grocery basket, all three boys receive a squirt of Germ-X before the drive home.

Hefty's HandySaks are awesome! They're usually at the check-out stand at Target and only cost a buck or two. They're great for any trash accumulated on the go. They also come in handy for blow-out diapers or wet clothes from potty training children, not that I'm speaking from experience or anything.

Now that warm weather is here, I also carry sunblock in the car for last-minute stops at the park.

I'm with you on the hand sanitizer! I have that stuff everywhere- in my purse, in my substitute teaching bag, in my car...what did I ever do without it?

This is funny because I babysit and I have hand sanitizer at teh ready when the kids come in from the bus. Who knows what they pick up there and I'd prefer that it stay out of my house. One of my moms bought me a box of tissues and a 2-liter bottle of hand sanitizer to help keep me stocked up. Wasn't that sweet?
I love the family pic in the sidebar!
Hope your little guy is feeling better!
Your last line should be the Mom creed. :o)

Great tip! I need to put new sunblock & hand sanitizer in my car, thanks for the reminder. I use those bags too, never know when you'll need them. Have a great rest of the week! =)

Nice tips sister! Especially the bags for blowout diapers. I am in denial that I will ever be seeing one of those again...

We also use sanitary wipes in the car for cleanups of... pretty much any type of body excriment from a child.

Fun times. I also have the pleasure of trying to keep my car clean for my job. I show houses and have to have a presentable "office". Makes for many many trips to the car wash...
