My How Time Flies

The boys and I ran into WalMart to pick up our 2008 photo calendar this morning. As I pulled the boys out of the car, my instructions were, "We are going in for one thing. And then we are going home. Let's see how fast we can get this done."

We charged hand-in-hand down an aisle that would take us to the photo center in the back of the store. We were walking at mach speed. Well, we were walking as fast as their little legs would take them, while I tried to resist the urge to pull them along.

But we came to a screeching halt when I noticed Valentine's gifts on display. Valentine's gifts!

Am I the only one disturbed by this?! Could we please get through 2007 first?!

Men need many months to remember to send their love a card or pick up chocolate.

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday. All Christmas stuff now marked down 50-75%. Valentines stuff where the Christmas stuff was on Monday. Very very sad.

I'm right there with ya sistah! I cannot believe we have become such a hurried society. I recently read a blog post about this same subject.

Here at The Coach's house we'll be celebrating the entire season of Christmas before we venture out to any other holidays! ;-)

Merry Christmas!

Amen sista! I can't STAND it when they put stuff out a whole season in advance! Like swimming suits . . . you can't possibly buy one after July 1st, because the winter jackets are out. And you'd better get your Halloween stuff by October 1st, because apparently October 2nd is when Christmas throws up in every single store.
