A Definition

writer's block

–noun

a usually temporary condition in which a writer finds it impossible to proceed with the writing of a novel, play, or other work.

I hope it's only temporary.

Thank goodness I don't write for a living.

We'd be hungry.

I hope this "condition" ends sometime before the new year.

I do write for a living and have severe writer's block these past couple of weeks!

Or it could be that I just don't want to write about what I have to - and I'm avoiding it and finding other things to do under the cloak of having writer's block. That MIGHT have something to do with it.

Is there such a thing as self-induced writer's block?
